Ingredients
Scale
Meat
- 8 oz flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain
Noodles
- 2 packs instant ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
Sauces & Oils
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Aromatics & Vegetables
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 1/2 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 green onions, sliced
Garnish
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Cook Noodles: Prepare the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain them thoroughly and set aside.
- Prepare Stir-Fry Sauce: In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil. Stir well to create a balanced savory sauce mixture.
- Cook Steak: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced flank steak and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until browned and just cooked through. Remove steak from skillet and set aside to keep warm.
- Sauté Aromatics: In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic and grated ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant, ensuring not to burn them.
- Cook Vegetables: Add broccoli florets, shredded carrots, and sliced red bell pepper to the skillet. Stir-fry the vegetables for 3 to 4 minutes until they are just tender but still crisp.
- Combine and Toss: Return the cooked steak to the skillet along with the drained ramen noodles. Pour the prepared stir-fry sauce over the mixture, then toss everything together thoroughly until the noodles and ingredients are evenly coated and heated through, roughly 2 minutes.
- Garnish and Serve: Transfer the stir-fried ramen to plates or bowls. Garnish with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds before serving for added freshness and texture.
Notes
- You can substitute flank steak with sirloin or skirt steak for similar texture and flavor.
- For added heat, stir in chili garlic sauce or crushed red pepper flakes to the stir-fry sauce.
