Description

These Oven Fried Feta Rolls with Chili Honey are a delightful appetizer featuring a crispy phyllo exterior filled with a creamy feta mixture, drizzled with a sweet and spicy honey sauce. Perfect for entertaining or as a unique snack!

Phyllo Rolls:

  • 8 sheets phyllo dough (thawed)
  • 6 oz feta cheese (crumbled)
  • 2 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter (for brushing)

Chili Honey Sauce:

  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare Filling: Mix crumbled feta, cream cheese, parsley, and dill. Spread on phyllo sheets.
  3. Roll the Feta Rolls: Roll up phyllo strips with filling, then bake until golden brown and crispy.
  4. Make Chili Honey: Warm honey, add red pepper flakes and salt. Drizzle over baked rolls.
  5. Serve: Drizzle with chili honey and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra heat, add more chili flakes or hot sauce to the honey.
  • These rolls can also be air-fried at 375°F for about 10–12 minutes.
