Dough:
- 2 cans refrigerated crescent roll dough or puff pastry sheets
Cinnamon Sugar Coating:
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Cream Cheese Glaze:
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2–3 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven and prepare muffin tin: Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a muffin tin.
- Prepare dough: Unroll the crescent dough or puff pastry, cut into strips, brush with melted butter, roll up, and place in the muffin tin.
- Bake: Bake for 15–18 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Prepare cinnamon sugar coating: Mix granulated sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Make cream cheese glaze: Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until smooth.
- Coat cruffins: Brush baked cruffins with butter, roll in cinnamon sugar, and drizzle with cream cheese glaze.
- Serve: Enjoy warm.
