Ingredients
For the Crust:
1 package (14 oz) chocolate sandwich cookies (crushed), 1/4 cup melted butter,
For the Layers:
1 quart strawberry ice cream (softened slightly), 1 quart chocolate ice cream (softened slightly), 1/2 cup strawberry preserves or jam,
For Garnish:
1/2 cup chocolate fudge sauce, 1 cup whipped cream or whipped topping, fresh strawberries and chocolate shavings
Instructions
- Prepare the Crust: Line the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan with parchment paper. Mix crushed cookies with melted butter, press into the pan, and freeze.
- Layer the Ice Cream: Spread chocolate ice cream over the crust, add strawberry preserves, then top with strawberry ice cream.
- Freeze: Freeze the cake until firm.
- Decorate and Serve: Drizzle with fudge sauce, garnish with whipped cream, strawberries, and chocolate shavings. Slice and enjoy!
Notes
- For easy slicing, run a sharp knife under hot water before cutting.
- This cake can be made up to 3 days in advance and kept tightly wrapped in the freezer.
