Instructions
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Combine Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk the egg, milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter until well combined.
- Combine Batter: Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir just until combined; do not overmix.
- Fry Fritters: Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet to 350°F. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and fry for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Drizzle and Serve: Drain fritters on a paper towel-lined plate, then drizzle with honey and dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm.
