- 24 candy eyes
Instructions
- Prepare the Batter: Preheat the oven according to the cake mix box instructions. Prepare the chocolate cake batter as directed on the box.
- Fill the Cupcake Liners: Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners and fill each about two-thirds full with the prepared batter.
- Bake: Bake cupcakes according to the time and temperature specified on the cake mix box, usually about 20 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove and allow them to cool completely.
- Frost the Cupcakes: Using a spatula or knife, spread a generous layer of chocolate frosting evenly on the cooled cupcakes.
- Attach the Snouts: Gently press one vanilla wafer near the bottom center of each cupcake to form the reindeer’s snout.
- Add the Nose: Place one red chocolate candy onto the center of each vanilla wafer to create the reindeer’s nose.
- Place the Eyes: Position two candy eyes above the snout on each cupcake.
- Add the Antlers: Break mini pretzels in half and stick one half on each side near the top of the cupcake to resemble antlers.
