Description

This Buffalo Chicken Flatbread Delight combines spicy buffalo wing sauce, tender diced chicken, and melted mozzarella on crispy flatbreads, finished with creamy blue cheese dressing and fresh green onions. Perfect for a flavorful, quick meal or game day snack.

Ingredients

Scale

Flatbread Base

  • 2 flatbreads (14.5 ounces total)
  • 2 teaspoons light olive oil

Toppings

  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce (more to taste)
  • 1 1/2 cups diced cooked chicken (approximately 3/4 pounds)
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/3 cup blue cheese dressing
  • 1/3 cup sliced green onions (about 3 green onions)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit to prepare for baking the flatbreads.
  2. Warm Flatbreads: Place the flatbreads on a parchment paper-lined sheet pan. Lightly brush the edges with olive oil to enhance crispiness. Bake for 5 minutes until they are warmed through and slightly crisp.
  3. Add Toppings: Evenly spread the buffalo wing sauce over both flatbreads. Top each with the diced cooked chicken and shredded mozzarella cheese. Drizzle blue cheese dressing over the toppings for added flavor.
  4. Bake Flatbreads: Return the flatbreads to the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are lightly browned and cheese is melted. For a golden top, switch the oven to broil on high and broil for 1-2 minutes, watching carefully to avoid burning.
  5. Finish and Serve: Remove the flatbreads from the oven. Sprinkle sliced green onions on top along with additional buffalo sauce and blue cheese if desired. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of buffalo wing sauce to your preferred spice level.
  • Use pre-cooked chicken for faster preparation; rotisserie chicken works well.
  • To make it vegetarian, substitute chicken with roasted cauliflower or jackfruit and use a dairy-free cheese alternative.
  • Serve with celery sticks or a side salad for a complete meal.
