- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons black pepper

Instructions
- Heat the pan: Melt butter in a large pan over medium heat to prepare for sautéing the vegetables.
- Sauté vegetables: Add the diced onion, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and jalapeño to the pan. Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables become softened and fragrant.
- Cook beef: Add the ground beef to the pan with the vegetables. Cook, stirring and breaking up the meat, until it is fully browned and the vegetables are tender. Drain off any excess grease from the pan.
- Season: Stir in the soy sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper into the beef and vegetable mixture. Mix thoroughly to ensure even seasoning and flavor distribution.
- Serve: Spoon the beef and pepper mixture over cooked rice if desired. Serve hot and enjoy your delicious bowl.
