Description

Crispy baked chicken wings coated in a rich and creamy homemade Alfredo sauce, perfect as a flavorful appetizer or satisfying main dish. These Alfredo Chicken Wings combine the best of crispy baked wings with a luscious parmesan cream sauce for a deliciously indulgent treat.

Ingredients

Scale

Chicken Wings

  • 20-25 chicken wings
  • 1 teaspoon Lawry’s seasoned salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Lawry’s garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons baking powder

Alfredo Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 3 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to get it ready for baking the chicken wings.
  2. Prepare the Chicken Wings: Clean the chicken wings thoroughly. In a large bowl, season the wings evenly with Lawry’s seasoned salt, garlic salt, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, paprika, and baking powder. Arrange the wings on a cooling rack placed over a baking sheet to allow air circulation for crispiness.
  3. Bake the Wings: Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Then flip each wing and bake for another 20 minutes. Flip the wings once more and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
  4. Prepare the Alfredo Sauce: While the wings are baking, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Slowly whisk in the heavy cream along with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Bring the mixture to a light boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in the shredded Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  5. Toss and Serve: Once the wings are fully baked and crispy, transfer them to a large bowl and toss them thoroughly in the Alfredo sauce so they are well-coated. Serve the wings hot for the best flavor and texture.

Notes

  • Using a cooling rack allows the wings to crisp up evenly by letting the hot air circulate all around.
  • Baking powder is key for extra crispiness on the skin without frying.
  • You can adjust the seasoning in the Alfredo sauce according to your taste preference.
  • For best results, serve the wings immediately after tossing in sauce to keep them from losing their crispiness.
  • If preferred, Parmesan cheese can be freshly grated for a more vibrant flavor.
